Meet the Executive Director of Lutheran Home
Andrew (Andy) Kazmierczak is the Executive Director at Lutheran Home. Andy was born and raised in Arlington Heights. He is a graduate of Buffalo Grove High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
After college graduation, Andy began working at Lutheran Home as the insurance and billing specialist. In 2012, he received a promotion to Regional Controller for Lutheran Life Communities, Lutheran Home’s parent organization. In his Regional Controller role, Andy’s focus was two of the organization’s six campuses. Professionally committed to the field of senior services and residential options, Andy became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Illinois. In 2015, he accepted the senior leadership position, Executive Director, at Lutheran Life Communities’ Chicago campus, St. Pauls House.
In 2018, Andy accepted the Executive Director role at Lutheran Home. His return to the organization’s first and largest campus also included a return to his hometown. He shares that, “I am thankful for this significant opportunity to return to both Lutheran Home and Arlington Heights. In both, I have seen the very best of community. It is the people of this community who provide me great confidence in our shared future within, and outside of, Lutheran Home.”
