INTRODUCING JESSE JANTZEN
President and CEO | Lutheran Life Communities
On behalf of the Board of Directors, following a thorough search process that yielded an abundance of well qualified candidates, I am pleased to introduce Jesse Jantzen as President & CEO of Lutheran Life Communities.
In close to twenty-five years of leadership experience, Jesse Jantzen’s professional career has been centered around the field of senior living. He began his career in the field as a nursing home administrator in Texas. In the years that followed, he held positions of progressive responsibility which included a turnaround of a struggling campus, as well as several ambitious expansion projects. Jesse invested the majority of his career in leadership positions within large, nationally respected systems of residential options and healthcare services for seniors. In these organizations, Jesse has been at the forefront of sustainably reimagining success in serving the growing expectations of generations to come.
In his most recent leadership role, Jesse served as President & CEO of Ascension Senior Living. Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Ascension Senior Living is a subsidiary of Ascension, the nation’s largest non-profit healthcare system. As CEO, he integrated multiple entities into a system designed to effectively address mission at each location while benefiting from system wide best practices. Jesse worked with his team to assure a consistent reputation for clinical excellence and to build customer satisfaction across this multi-state provider. Jesse led the promotion of tangible organizational culture, which focused on community and relationships. Trust was built within those relationships with residents and their families, as well as physicians, hospitals, home health agencies, referral sources and neighbors in the communities in which they operate.
Most importantly, Jesse Jantzen is a prayerful leader whose faith in Christ leads his life. He understands mission. He was born in the jungles of Colombia, where his parents were missionaries supporting the work of the Church. He lived without running water or electricity until he was 15 years old.
Jesse considers his career in service to seniors and their families a vocational calling. Today, he believes Lutheran Life Communities is where God has called him to live out his calling by devoting his time and talent.
Jesse’s decision to lead our organization is a blessing for which we are thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ. Today, it is my honor to introduce to you Jesse Jantzen as President & CEO of Lutheran Life Communities. Please join me in extending him a warm welcome. Together, we are empowering vibrant, grace-filled living across all generations.
Yours in Christ,
Michael K. Renetzky
