Short-term Rehabilitation

Short-term Rehabilitation

Lutheran Home's MyRehab program helps patients move forward when an illness, injury or surgery has set them back. Modern and comprehensive short-term rehabilitation services assist in the recovery from a wide range of events to help patients regain their optimal level of performance and return home. All of our communities offer short-term rehabilitation including physical, occupational, speech, lymphedema, and respiratory therapy.

We offer the opportunity to pre-register, making the transition from the hospital to rehab seamless.

Register for a Prehab Virtual Presentation

We make hundreds of choices every day, and some have a more significant impact than others. That’s especially true when it comes to your health. So it’s important to know that you have a choice when it comes to rehabilitation following elective joint replacement and orthopedic surgery. And what you decide can affect how quickly and how well you will recover.

A virtual Prehab presentation is a great opportunity to learn about what to expect during your rehabilitation stay at MyRehab on the Lutheran Home campus. You’ll have an opportunity to learn about the rehabilitation process, comfortable accommodations, customized culinary services and “meet” some of our friendly, experienced professionals who will help get you on the road to recovery. And in addition, we’ll add your name to the advanced reservation list.

What people are saying about MyRehab:

" I attended the preview session that took prospective patients through the actual rehab unit, showing us the private rooms we would occupy and the physical rehab session room with all of its equipment, and we were introduced to one of the physical therapy staff members. We were given information about what items to bring with us, and were able to submit all of the required insurance paperwork prior to our admission, making the transition from the hospital to the rehab unit extremely smooth."

"I found out about Lutheran Home from my doctor after a fall. I knew about long term care but I didn’t realize that there was short term rehabilitation. Since coming to MyRehab, I felt very comfortable since day one. As a matter of fact, It’s like a nice hotel. I would stay here. The food is great!! Wonderful! I have family that keeps bringing me food and I tell them not to because the menu is so extensive. The salmon is my particular favorite.

When it comes to the medical staff, every question I ask, they have an answer. One of the nurses recently explained to me the process of taking pain pills to help control my pain. I had been doing it wrong.

This is a first class facility and if I have family or friends that need special care, I would definitely recommend MyRehab. The care, the food, the accommodations, everything is special. They treat everybody as a special person, not just a patient!"
